After our Chapel Hill Home Owners Association meeting we all gathered at Beverly’s CLUB 43 for a gumbo tasting. The weather, the crowd and the food was perfect. Pat & Susan made Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Monique & Danny made the same. Joan & Pete and Toni & Joe made Seafood Gumbo. The rice cookers were Lynn, Claudia and Patricia!!! Lance and Sue made potato salad, Ken & Dean brought pizza and Mike made homemade bread pudding and whisky sauce. Someone snuck in with Key Lime pie. AND Faye finished it off with frozen daiquiris’. One thing we know how to do in Chapel Hill is EAT!!!
